How to participate?

In Matka Workshop Day 2026 you have the opportunity to introduce your company in 15 minutes one-on-one meetings. Meetings can be requested both ways: suppliers from buyers, media, or event partners, and vice versa. It's in the power of the person to whom meeting is suggested, to accept or decline a request.

How much does it cost?

Meet Finland – Finnish supplier

Valid until October 9, 2025: €1610 + VAT

Starting from October 10, 2025: €2,135 + VAT

Meet the World – International suppliers

Valid until October 9, 2025: €1150 + VAT

Starting from October 10, 2025: €1,580 + VAT

Participation includes:
Table for max. 2 sales delegates from the same company
One company profile and two person profiles
Two calendars; can be combined if needed.
Use of online matchmaking tool to pre-schedule meetings
Contact info of Buyers, Media and Event Partners.

If a table is shared between two separate companies, an extra fee of 800 euro + VAT applies. Invoicing from one company only.

Supplier participation is subject to confirmed exhibitor status in Matka 2026 and completed order of Matka Workshop Day 2026 participation.

Participating as a Buyer - company representatives only

Buyer participation is for tour operators, travel agents, OTAs, distribution channels and MICE operators which are looking for new products and destinations, and are involved in initiating or authorizing purchasing decisions on travel-related products and services, and are potential business partners to participating suppliers. They can register as Buyers free of charge. Travel costs and stay in Helsinki are on participant's own expense, unless participating a hosted buyer programme which is managed by Visit Finland, Helsinki Partners and Finnair, and is 'by invitation only'.

All registrations are subject to validation. As soon as a profile is validated, you will receive a 'Profile validated' email. Several buyers can be under the same company profile, and you can add a colleague or colleagues when your profile is validated. Last day to enter profiles: 10 January 2025, if not fully-booked earlier. Meeting calendars will open in late November. With your Matka Workshop Day 2026 Buyer badge you have also access to Matka 2026 fair on all days 15-18 January.

Please note, that because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, we do not accept participants from Russia in Matka Travel Fair or Matka Workshop Day for the time being.
